Hello, NBC Sports in Chicago recently created two over the air (OTA) channels (62.2, 62.3). As you can see from the screenshot below, the antenna and tuner is able to pickup both channels under the name “Chicago” for 62.2 and “ChPlus” for 62.3 for Blackhawks, Bulls, and Sox games.
However, when I select the channel under the “TUNER CHANNELS” section and try to map it to an “EPG CHANNELS”, there isn’t a proper EPG channel to map it to.
I already refreshed the guide and re-scanned the tuner channels and the EPG channel to map to for both are still missing. How do I get Plex to pull in these channels within the EPG so I get the proper guide information? I would prefer not to map to an incorrect channel to watch as I want the proper guide information. Hopefully I don’t need to delete the DVR and re-setup?
Hello,
This is related - we also have CHSN added in the Milwaukee area on channel 24.4. Maybe not as much of a demand here, but nice for Blackhawks games. If this guide data gets added, please also add for 24.4 (WVTV). Plex won’t display anything without some EPG data, I worked around it by re-setting up the DVR with a zip code in the Waukegan area, that allows Milwaukee-area channels and lets me select WVPNCD4 for 24.4, just so there is some guide data there, then I can watch the channel. However, of course, the guide data is wrong. If the CHSN guide data can get populated, sure would be nice!
