Plex pass member and unless I can get plex server preferably 64 bit working on unraid I will not be renewing or sadly no longer using unraid. I am simple as all I need it media storage, plex and sabnzbd. Unfortunately I’ve tried plex on unraid 5 and frankenplex ubuntu on unraid 6 both with no success. Seems to blowup the sdcard. Any who I had someone helping me with xen vm and plex seemed to be working, however I started having disk space errors with sabnzbd. I may have to go back to uing my windows laptop and scrap the whole thing. My feelings for what its worth
I used unRAID 4 and 5 for years with Plex, with no issues. It is likely that the issues you are having are specific to your config and 64 bit will not help that.
Well I don’t know what’s the problem with plex and my config. VM works just not my expertise… When and if a plex 64bit is released then I can possibly troubleshoot my config issues better.

I would not suggest a VM installation and a Plex installation on the same unRAID box. Both are slightly special cases and should lead to specific decisions for tuning. Even when a 64-bit binary is available, I will be running it on the host OS specifically because of the types of issues you are seeing.
While unRAID has phenomenal applications in media storage, I just do not see it being that great a solution for virtualization. I regret that some of the developers have decided it is that strong a driving factor for the next version of unRAID.
