I currently run a plex server on a windows VM on unRAID and I am getting tired of the random restarts and updates that I thought I had turned off. So I was thinking of moving it to a linux VM because Plex is the only thing I have running on the windows VM (I had other things running on it but had moved them to other systems or stopped using them all together and plex is the only hold out). I have tried the docker but had issues every time plex would do an update and I would have to manually turn the docker off update it then restart it. I want this to be a set and forget sort of thing.
Looking on the downloads page there is a download for ubuntu, unRAID, and a docker. I know I don’t want the docker but am confused about the unRAID download is that a plug-in, if so I thought that the plex plug-in was decrepit and no longer updated.
