I downloaded the new beta.
Unfortunately the problem still exists:
My MP3 files are ALWAYS transcoded, although I set the quality to “Original”. As reason for the transcoding Plex mentions “bandwidth exceeded”.
With the stable version of Plex it works without transcoding.

Thanks for the logs, we are investigating it and hopefully will be fixed soon.
Confirming the bug. Regular flac 44.1/16 are transcoded in the local network.
