Here’s the situation I just renamed a bunch of WMV files that were recorded by a Ceton DVR they play fine but I noticed that my Roku Ultra seems to handle them the best over WiFi my desktop struggles a bit slow loading and scrubbing, (the desktop I’m using has a Core i7-9700K 32 gigs of RAM a GTX 1070 and it’s hardwired to the same Router the NAS is on) my Roku 3 Premier+ is doing ok better than the desktop! My Pixel 3 xl and 2017 iPad 10.1 are also handing it ok! I don’t have a Plex pass so it’s not the NAS trying to transcode I did see the NAS is maxing out the cpu when. I use my desktop? The desktop should handle anything I throw at it!!! The GTX1070 should handle it and if not the Core i7-9700K should definitely deal with the WMV files no issue! Any ideas what’s happening here?
Nevermind I don’t know how to explain it better renaming files was just to say I was playing WTV files some above 25 mbs a second data rate I’ll figure it out
