For years I have decided not to purchase a lifetime Plex Pass because I just did not need the extra features. So many times I could have purchased on special for about $50usd.
Now…. BAM, add a charge the one feature I use it for without any prior notice (no I didn’t get an email earlier than today!!!)

Yep. Intentionally fail to email the users most affected by the price increase, then raise the price, and the very next day inform said users. It’s a pathetic approach.
I will be spending my weekend testing Jellyfin.
Emby was a consideration… but who’s to say they won’t follow Plex’s lead! (Although currently their lifetime pass is $119)
