I love the plex service and how easily everything can be viewed everywhere on all sorts of devices. But I'm still confused because I'm used to the 'dvr' type world.
I supply the "dvr" a list of channels (from the cable company), and a list of shows/movies/actors/etc that I'm interested. When something is on one of the channels that matches somethign I'm interested in, the dvr automagically records it and it shows up in my dvr.
However, in Plex it seems like I need to browse each "channel" to see if there's something I like rather than having the things I'm interested grouped in one neat and easy place.
Am I missing something, or does plex not group shows based on interests?
Is there a way to aggregate all the channels together and have it do this?
Is there a paradigm shift, and I just "don't get it"?
