A favorite row

Maybe a way to mark a movie as a favorite. have a row that they show up in. This would be good for us that have a big movie collection.

What does everyone think of this  Yes or No

Your very particular about how your media displays aren’t you

As to your question, I think PMS has a Queue capability and I think that could serve a similar roll as a favorite row. I would support that in Plexconnect.

I just think it would be a nice thing to have. I dont know how big some people movies collection is but I am reaching about 1000 and sometimes it a pain to go though them to find one movie. Also when a movie is on deck and let’s say your done with it but the movie not finish you have to go to the actual movie to mark it as watched or unwatched. Why not be able to do that from the on deck screen.

I like the idea! Instead of creating a collection with Plex/Web, we could favorite in aTV…easier.

+1 it can be nice :)

A favorite Row would be nice!

But i would also like to have a Row with recently added content which is unwatched. So a Row like now but whith unwatched Movies only…

That's what search is for ;)

Yep, been meaning to add that.... Will add it soon.

I know what search is for  lol.  I just thought it would be easier ;) and quicker then up/down click up/down click to make a word.

Firstly, unless a "favorites" system is added to PMS then it's never going to be added to PlexConnect, "favorites" data needs to be stored in the library, PlexConnect doesn't have that kind of access.

Second, at what point does the same thing happen to a "favorites" system, first you have 10 favorite movies then it becomes 50 then suddenly you have 200 favorites and it's just as hard to find a movie. Sorry but search is there for a reason, and it's not that much trouble typing because generally you can get a good enough match using just the first 3 or 4 letters.

If you really need "favorites" then just create a collection called favorites and add movies to that.

Sorry. I did not mean to cause any problem or get anyone upset.  It was just an idea.

No ones upset :) I was just pointing out that it's a feature that would need to be added to PMS first and that adding it can cause it's own problems. Sorry if my post seemed a bit too harsh :)
