A movie I frequently watch has stopped playing

I was about halfway through watching and my TV went off as scheduled. I had a timer set. Tis is a common thing. I start a movie, set a timer and fall asleep to it. Then I usually just pick it up where it left off.

This time, no. When I try to restart, it just tries to load the movie, but it never does. no timeout, it just doesn’t start. If I try start from the beginning, same, never loads. I shut off the server, removed it from my library, restarted, scanned, shut down, replaced the movie, restarted, rescanned, same effect. If I browse to the movie in Windows explorer, I can watch it fine with the windows media player. It just refuses to play in PLEX.

Same weather I am trying to watch with the plex app on my LG TV or in the Plex app on my server.

Is there some XML or database that needs to be cleared?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
