a way to bind to one nic ?

hi

i have multiple nics with multiple ip adresses in the server running this plexconnect and somehow he likes to connect to the wireless one …

would like him to connect to a wired one

not sure if it is possible ?

And any eta on myplex integration would be welcome?

Want this to work with multiple servers?

IT’s the only thing stopping me to upgade atv firmware…

Set DHCP reservation for the NIC on router.

edit settings.cfg to disable GDM and set IP of required NIC on PMS

Enjoy.

No ETA yet but "soon" ;)

mmm i meant on the computer which is running plexconnect ....

i have

1 movie plex server

1 tv plex server

1 windows machine with plexconnect  which has 3 different nics

i want plexconnect to bind to one nic .... although from tests it seems even when it binds to one nic that i can access it from the atv when it is set to another ip...

guess same network trumps things

In the latest release of PlexConnect, you can set the ip of the web server, ip_webserver. It will bind to that IP address. These settings can be altered in Settings.cfg but you may have to remove the overrides in the PlexConnect.py-script (near line 217-218) at the bottom though, or it won’t pick up the settings from the Settings.cfg.

Overrides? In PlexConnect.py? Line 217/218? Mine only has like 105.

To my knowledge, there are NO overrides. And you don't have to alter ANY source code...

My previous comment and pull-request was based on not fully understanding the declarations in the main-function. This can be disregarded.

ok. cool.

:-D
