We're very close to being able to upload all the media to a storage service (I'm hoping Bitcasa pans out), then to serve it from any server at any time.
The ability to sync a 'just the facts'(tm) database to this folder would be a huge help to this users-in-charge world vision; something that Plex would use as the primary database for watched status.
Any server would read this in real time, just like the clients do, and if I end an episode from one server, it would show the next one when logging in to a partner server with the same myPlex ID.
