Ability to add photos to collections of videos in any library

In photos, allow the adding the photo to a collection, be it a series, or video.

Would allow for related images to appear when viewing the collection in whatever library it is associated with.

Would you mind elaborating what you have in mind? Maybe an example?

For instance, if you have training videos, related pictures and diagrams could be visible… While you are looking at the page of the video. (Down below, near related videos etc)

Orrrr… Say… As a random relatable example:

A picture of the timeline of the _______ cinematic universe? Including chronological viewing order of shows and movies, behind the scenes photos etc.

If you’re trying to show those images as extras of your training videos… there’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to support images as a separate type of local extras. In that Case I suggest you comment/vote in that thread to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Image-files as extras

I think it would be neat if you could make a gallery of images in jpg and similar formats, like, alternate posters, behind the scenes photos, etc, that you could look through, like many dvds and blurays have. Extras for Collections

There are some movie extras which don’t necessarily belong to an individual movie, but belong to a movie series. For example, a documentary about Back to the Future which covers all 3 movies. Now that there is a proper implementation of Collections, it would be great if these extras could be assigned to the collection as a whole. It is possible to work around this by adding these extras as movies (manually editing metadata as necessary) and adding those to the collection but it would be nice if …
