Ability to add sections to the collection view

Hello all,

Currently, the collection view is fairly basic. We can sort them based on collection title, but that’s it. In this light, I’d like to propose a suggestion which makes the collection view more pleasant for the user. So the suggestion I want to make goes as follows:

• The user has the ability to sort his Collections (be it smart or simple) under section headers he/she can create. Think of the Windows Start menu icon section (see below for a more visual representation of this idea).

• Ideally these collection headers can be dragged, as in that the header flows naturally in between the collections when the user is deciding where to locate it.

• The collections part of a specific section should be able to be ordered on more than title properties. Collection item count is one I can think of now.

There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to group the collections tab, adding sections/labels. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
