Hi! This is the first time I make a feature request.
I don’t know about other people but I have a lot of different collections in my collections tab.
I’m hoping in the future there will be the option to group up collections. When you click on the Collections tab the collections there currently are being sorted only by alphabetical order. I wish to request the option to sort them by groups similar to how you can sort by groups the items in your My Computer window (Folders, Devices and Drives etc.). Each different group to be on a new separate line. And these groups to be sorted by alphabetical order.
For example have Disney animation collection, MGM animation and Pixar animation under a group called Animation; a second group named Genres with collections of different genres under it like action, drama, horror etc.; a third group called Franchises with different collections under it like Star Wars collection, Terminator collection etc.
I’m not sure if I am explaining this correctly so please let me know if it sounds confusing. Also let me know if I am doing something wrong with this post since it’s the first time I am posting and I’m not sure if I am doing it correctly. Thank you for your time!
Drag and drop sorting of the collections themselves much the way you can sort inside the collection would be great. Unsure how feasible it’d be though from a technical standpoint.
That’s not what I meant.
Grouping them up means to put specific collections into custom groups, each group to be on a new line.
For example on the screenshot, I want after the red mark to start on a new line.
From Dreamworks to the russian animation collection is animation group.
From anime to dinosaurs is the genres group.
I hope this makes sense.
What you describe has already been covered in a separate feature suggestion. I recommend you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing votes.
Some of that was also touched in a feature suggestion about nested collections.
