Ability to change how folders are displayed or Redesign of Folders UI

Hi I didn’t see this after searching a bit. Been thinking of this for a while. Hope it’s not too long winded to explain.
If you go into any library, at the top where the All | Movie | Title | # videos selects are…
select dropdown Movies => change to Folders.
When using Folders view it only displays the folders in a linear row, as below.
The Feature Request would be to show the rows as an icon folder(s). In a grid type fashion. This way it would look similar to the normal library UI.
One would not have to scroll down through individual files that take up the whole row (taking up blank space) vs having 4 -5 movies per row

It would be a perfect solution to sub categorize while having main library folder display root folder contents.

We actually used to have that, but they took it away last year, causing a lot of protest.

There is an existing request to restore Grid View. Rather than splitting votes over multiple threads, it’s best to add your vote/comments there.
