Recently added some audio books to my plex and realized there’s no way to change playback speed. This ( i think) should be an easy addition (across platforms). I also think many others would enjoy it. thanks!

This is already possible in the mobile apps.
See if the library has the flag “Store track progress” enabled. (you should only enable it in libraries which contain exclusively audiobooks and radio plays etc.)

Well then it sounds like my original statement is valid. I’d love to see this feature added. Seems like a useful tool in the default plex app 
I don’t know about the regular Plex app for iOS, but on the Android mobile app, you can change the playback speed.
Video does not support playback speed control has been very helpless, obviously the desktop audio support playback speed control, but the mobile client (ios) does not support, I hope plex to solve these old issues as soon as possible, they are basic features.

This is bizarre… I randomly just got the option to change it after hours of tinkering. It’s like I scared the option into existence.
Best player for audio books is Prologue for iOS. It works great for audio books and does what you are looking for.
I just got remembered that Plexamp can indeed change the playback speed – after you enable this ability in its preferences.
Do you mean that there is an option to set playback speed control on Plexamp for iOS?

I couldn’t find this option on Plexamp for iOS 4.7.4, my OS is iOS 15.2.
