Ok, I do love Plex DVR and use it quite a lot and most of the time it works great but the other part it doesn’t. I’ve been having issues where recordings are “aborted” for no reason and (most recently) only 5 seconds of the show got recorded. Not exactly the most smooth experience. Am I the only one who has these issues or are others experiencing them as well and are these known issues to Plex and have fixes on the way?

Which ones do I need to send or do I just send the whole zip file?
I don’t know which OS your running but in Windows it would be the file
C:\Users[user name]\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Logs\Plex Media Server.log
or if you want to narrow it down around the issue and there are others from earlier times listed as
Plex media server,1,log all the way up to 4. you can check the date modified to get closer to the event.

Was trying to record Australian Ninja Warrior. Sunday 7pm on 9HD Melbourne.
Huh. I recorded that same airing (and I’m in Melbourne too). I’ll look into it 
Did it work for you? Also, do you use IceTV or another XMLTV?
Yeah, it worked for me, and I use IceTV for my guide. You’ll need to give me more logs than that though, as that one file only goes back until 11pm last night.

Do you see an aborted error in the UI? I do see some transcoding errors, but it doesn’t seem to have stopped the recording.

That’s the one where I said only 5 seconds of the show actually got put into my library.
I don’t suppose you have the file so I can see what bit was recorded?
Unfortunately I don’t as I replaced it with a repeat from Yesterday (which recorded fine). The bit that was recorded was in the middle of one of the runs.
Just happened again with tonights episode! I’ve attached the file (in rar) and another log zip. What I noticed was odd is that the episode went into a Season 2018 folder instead of the Season 2 folder that it should be going in.

Edit: Plex isn’t showing tomorrow’s repeat that I’ve been trying to set a recording for in the recording schedule! This is kind of getting frustrating now… Is this still in beta?
