Hi
About 30% of my recordings abort for unknown reasons.
I gave up trying to figure out why.
Here are logs from the latest failure.
Can the reason be discerned??

Hmmm.
Been a week.
So I assume this problem must be resolved. (Since Plex cares so much to provide customer support)
However I cannot find the resolution in this forum anywhere.
Could someone point me to that solution???
Thanks…
Yes, same problem here. I have been using dvr for a few months, on occasion a program would abort but lately everything will abort. I tried rebooting HomeRun Prime, router, rescaned channels etc. no luck… Very unhappy.
Me too…
I am to the point that I do not care any more…
Maybe that’s Plex’s plan anyway…
LOL
DVR is basically a Train Wreck!!!
Agreed. BTW have you tried HDHR_VCR and Titan TV to record directly outside of PLEX. It works for me, I re-tested it today after 3 failed attemps with PLEX, it works fine so it’s not a problem with my HomeRun config or my network firmware etc. Plex seems to be the problem.
Nope.
I have given up.
Using a REAL DVR to make recordings.
The only down side is I have to play them back to a PC Video capture card to create my media files.
Loses some resolution and is a pain step… BUT ALWAYS works… LOL
But not much more pain than the recording from Plex DVR as unusable (Practically Speaking) till re-encoded anyway. So almost a wash…
Here is some info I supplied to Plex to possibly help them.
LOL Prolly not…
Any chance you’re using Silicon Dust’s DVR as well, or accessing the tuner in another way? Plex / Silicon Dust / Other DVRs don’t seem to play super well, resulting in failed recordings…
Nope…
I have already given Plex tons of info on this.
Up to them to sort it out.
Hmmm.
2 months and still no idea what is wrong with DVR?
