Hi, I have the latest plex running in docker and I am the admin of this server. I possess all the medias of my family, and after creating them accounts I have shared with them their respective content. This is working great, but they cannot share anything with anyone which is making my plex useless. For instance: my mom would like to share with my dad her pictures she took from their last trip, but she can’t. How could we do that?
I know resharing smeow apprehended, however, to me it is essential, but maybe to make everyone happy we could have a permit resharing button when sharing something.

As you established… you’re the admin which makes you the owner of the entire setup. Nobody but you can share media from your server.
If you want to give them an option to share their own stuff, you’ll need to either share on their behalf or give them their own server(s).
I see, then plex isn’t the right tool for me. I am not going to create a server for each user especially because they would not know how to manage it, and because I would like to have HW transcoding it means a lot of plex pass.
I am so disapointed, I have tried emby jellyfin kodi… but plex was offering the best features and performance. I don’t see what else I can do.
