There’s already an existing feature suggestion asking for an option to sort regular collections by release date in descending order. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting votes. Please search for existing suggestions before posting duplicates.

Sort collections by descending release date

We already can soft the collection by title or by release date. When sorted by release date, the oldest item is first and the newest is last. Entering a large collection on TV apps needs you to scroll through all old movies to reach the newly added ones. Please add a setting in the collection preference window to choose ascenting or descending release date order. Thx a lot. PS: Maybe there is already a request like this. I searched a while but did not find this.
