More sorting options for Collections

Currently there are three sorting options: Release Date, Alphabetical, and Custom. If I sort by Release Date, it sorts oldest to newest. If I have this collection pinned to my Home screen, I only see the oldest titles. I’d like to request another sorting option for Release Date newest to oldest.

There’s already an existing suggestion discussing for Plex to include an option to sort collections by descending release date. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.

Sort collections by descending release date

We already can soft the collection by title or by release date. When sorted by release date, the oldest item is first and the newest is last. Entering a large collection on TV apps needs you to scroll through all old movies to reach the newly added ones. Please add a setting in the collection preference window to choose ascenting or descending release date order. Thx a lot. PS: Maybe there is already a request like this. I searched a while but did not find this.
