I’ve been using kodi / media portal for sometime as I like being able to use one gui to access what I need, in kodi I can stay in kodi and access live tv and dvr via backend plugin. I’m looking to try plex and emby and wanted to replace kodi but from what I found I’d be giving up lots of plugins. One main one is Youtube, on kodi it’s awesome and supports my account with my subscriptions etc. I use the maverick plugin all the time to stream old tv movies. Since plex doesn’t seem to have the massive amount of kodi plugins is there a way to either add kodi plugin support to plex natively or a way for me to access kodi via the plex UI so I can use the plugins. I don’t want to have to switch UI all the time. My main goal was to just use plex for everything including my drv but since the plugins I use are not in plex I guess I’ll have to still use kodi but I want to stay on the plex UI and not switch back and forth.

It can’t be done. You can access a Plex server from inside Kodi (using the “Plex for Kodi” add-on), but not the other way around.
