I have kodi XBMC installed on same computer as plex. I can get plex to run on my roku 2 no issues there.
How do i get kodi installed and running on plex?

Look for the “plexkodiconnect” plugin.

Well put your Plex login credentials in it, and your library will show up in kodi… it’s a way to replace Kodi’s library with Plex’s… you don’t have anything to do on PMS’s side to get this working.

  1. No. 2. Why? What are you trying to do? Plex is a server- client system, while kodi is client/player. Why do you want a player to go through a server to another client?

I assume he wants all the customability that comes with Kodi being able to Skin the homescreen and whatnot. Rokus dont support Kodi so Plex or Emby are really your only options for your media library. I ran into this obstacle when I bought my Roku 3. I ended up buying an android box off of amazon for 30 bucks to run Kodi on my Big screen in the living room and love it I still use plex on my Roku in the bedroom and on my XBOX 360 in the den its a solid just works out of the box program but for those who love customizing tinkering with the settings and the add-ons Kodi is the way to go.
