[accomplished] Plex for Android TV - show extended audio info

Dear all,

I found something that really bugs me even though it is very small and doesn´t affect playback at all. On nearly all plex apps extended audio info is shown. For example, seen in PlexMediaPlayer.- >

Only in the android tv ui, it just says “DTS 5.1” even though it is “DTS-HD MA 5.1”

(even the mobile plex app shows “DTS-HD MA 5.1”)

It would be awesome if this could be added to the android tv ui as well.
(extra language label like in pmp not necessary).

Thanks

I take it the summary on the movie main page will not show the full details – simply due to space limitations.
That being said… you can click on ... > More Information – this will show some more details on the available streams. However it certainly does not include details like the full track names etc. (therefore not disputing your suggestion  )

FYI:

You are right, you can click on ... and display additional information. That´s great but also quite laborious if you just want to check what version you have. I don´t think it would take too much space to display DTS-HD MA or just DTS-HD. Everything is better as just showing DTS. I mean every other player is currently doing so, so why not android tv.

Well also displaying DTS:X or Atmos would be the Holy Grail, but for now just a bit more then dts is sufficient for me atleast.

Consider this one as accomplished as the newest beta version feature an extended dts hd flag.

Thanks!
