In Plex Web 4.39.1, the “Added extended stream details inside audio and subtitle stream selection menus” was implemented, meaning additional stream info (e.g. stream title) is shown alongside the language, codec and channel layout information.
However, for e.g. the Samsung Smart TV Plex application, such stream info is not visible, thus I cannot differentiate between two stereo AAC tracks, one of which being the original movie audio and the other being a commentary track. Please display the stream title for audio and subtitle streams in the (Samsung) Smart TV Plex application(s) as well.
There’s already a widely popular feature suggestion for this feature in general. Users have asked to keep it open until the feature is implemented in all (key) clients – which hasn’t happened yet.
I recommend you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing votes.
