Account compromised, no longer can access my local server

Server Version#: 4.62.1
Player Version#: Current (Web App)

I recently received an e-mail of an unauthorized login to my Plex Account (not my server)
As a precaution, I reset my account password, and logged out all devices, then deauthorized all devices in the settings that were old or unfamiliar.

I reauthorized my account on on my Plex Server, however now the local library on my server is no longer accessible. It says its not authorized, even when logged into the server locally. I have followed the basic troubleshooting steps in the support article about this issue (turned off VPN, logged out of both server and web and logged back in, etc.)

What’s the best way to go about troubleshooting this? I thought about just removing the server and readding it, but I’d rather find a more elegant solution.

Using Ubuntu 16.04 fully updated to latest supportable build.

Thanks in advance!

Hi thanks Otto,

Yes, I had tried the support article steps.

Interestingly though, when I got to the step of logging back in locally to the server, I didn’t require me to enter in a password. But I did indeed remove the the lines from the Preferences.XML in
/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/

It should have asked me to reauthenticate, right?

Ahh ok, cleared my browser cache and it worked.

All set, thanks again!
