Someone care to share just why in the F accounts were showing emails instead of designated profile names as set up?

instead of it showing GoingGaGa on my posts and profiles, it showed my full email addy… not fun
I went into accounts and couldnt find where to change it, so i changed username from email to GoingGaGa, updated and saved, but it still showed email… thankfully afterwards it showed my username again…
Just don’t want this to happen again
The “Username” is where you change / specify what is seen in the forums.
So I’m clear (I’m about to discuss this with Operations),
