Accounts for kids + 1 outside the house.

As I get it, I need a Plex Pass first (that’ll come after I get my pay), that’ll sort out setting up a local accounts for the kids, I don’t want them to be able to see my horror section.

I have a son that lives with me every other week and I want him to be able to watch his movies when he’s at hes mother’s too, do I need a “real” Plex account for him too when he isn’t connected locally?

It is recommended to use a ‘Friend’ account for every user who is not living with you in the same household.
You can still add him later to your ‘Plex Home’ to enable ‘Fast User Switching’ if you need it, but he will have his own set of plex username/password which is better.

Just have him create an own plex.tv account (this is free).
Then share your server (or just certain libraries) with him.

Thanks, just what I needed to know. Was more worried that I’d have to create a full account for each kid (there’s seven of them :P).
