Yesterday I could look into the actor details with cover, movie/show history, … Since this morning the covers are all I see.
Did something change on Plex side?
TIA

Did you enable “adult titles” in your library(s)?
I didn’t change anything between yesterday and today. Do you mean this? Yes, that’s set as always.

Precisely. It must be disabled for Discover credits to function.

So this changed between yesterday and today? I swear: Yesterday I could look at the details of an actor (Lauterbach). Today it is gone. And I didn’t change one single setting between yesterday and today.
Unchecked this and details are back again. Thanks.
Please consider adding a hint to this setting. Something like “Checking this will remove actor details”. This will be a support case in the future otherwise.
No, it didn’t.
Maybe you entered the actor details coming from a different library, which didn’t have the checkbox ticked.
Really, really, really - I did not change anything. And I looked at actor details yesterday. I have one movie library only. No different settings or details. The libraries do exist unmodified since months.
I do have lot’s of database backups. Perhaps I can find the change date for this setting within the database.
The only thing that happened yesterday was: I wrote all my remote family members how they can switch off that Discover feature and check and set the privacy settings to private only. Perhaps changes from remote users did trigger that.
BTW, I’m upset about the recent changes on Plex side. Family members received mails about things they did not want (discover, watchlist, watch history, whatever). They called me and I’m in need to support Plex and walk through discussions with them about data security (opt-in vs. opt-out). Something that was not my intention when chosing Plex.
