I've a request for the developers: in XBMC I love the option to see the list of the actors, and search from this list for their other movies.
Can you consider to implement this useful option in Plex too?

It is under the filters, you can filter by actors. On android, it looks like three horizontal lines on the upper right.

thank you but NO, I do not want to list ALL the actors that appear in ALL my archive, this option is not exactly useful
What you can do in XBMC is to ask the movie info, there you can see the list of the actors in that movie and then if needed from that (short) list use the search for actors.
Now with plex:
1. I can see just a short part of the cast
2. I can't search for the actors of the cast
3. By using the search for the actors on the whole library is really annoying, too many entries.
So, again, my request for the developers is to add this very useful feature

I'm actually working on a second screen app to do just this - it shows what you are watching and from there you can get a cast list, filmography for the cast member, link to IMDB etc. It's an iOS app and will be available in the next few weeks on the app store.
