I am streaming movies from my computer. I have 2 computers I want to pull from. How do I set up the 2nd computer? All it seems to do is to allow me to see the first?
Establish a network share / file share to the main media folder on the second computer and connect that one in the file system of the 1st computer. This way you will be able to use the 1st computer as your Plex Media Server, while keeping the media files in 2 different locations.
The above solution requires to have both computers running all the time.
If that is not the case, you better install Plex server on each of the computers, but use the same plex.tv account on both of them.
Then you can switch servers in all official Plex clients.
