I have found that Plex has difficulty playing a movie with a H.264 profile of High. The video is slow and jumpy when played using Plex on my 12th gen i7 or the Sony Bravia TV. Well, well, well. I ran faulty video through VideoProc without changing settings (including High profile) and both MKV and MP4 work. Thanks for the solution.
