Currently the collections settings in each library has 3 options:
Disabled
Hide items which are in collections
Show collections and their items
I would like to add 1 option:
Hide collections and items which are in collections
This way, you can still use the collections tab to look at collections, but the library will not show collections or their items.
This should make it easier to check items which haven’t been placed in collections yet (If you are like me and want to “collectify” a lot)
Alternatively, a way to filter the library to only show items not in collections

Its a pain when you’ve got tons of movies that take forever to sort through, I would have thought that would have been the point of the collections tab in the first place.
I need this option too, why aren’t people voting on this?
I thought there was a way to do this. Based on the way the options and their respective documented descriptions read, this should work now. But it doesn’t seem to work as I expected.
+1 for being able to filter the library with collection visibility respected.
