Add PLEX fields IMDB / THEMOVIEDB / etc. to enter the ID # since MATCH tools can’t find it, we can.

Example “MATCH” can’t find this film.

Emby allows users to add the ID “tt2614684” and “252178” so it knows how to look it up. PLEX MATCH needs improvement, I can find the ID # in seconds, yet MATCH’s circle spins for a while and fails to locate the same data, even when I add most of the content one-by-one to see if I can assist it. PLEX MATCH still fails.

Please add additional files so we can get back to watching movies/shows and not spend all of our time trying to find solutions to simple matters.

You can enter the IMDB ID into the Title field when you enter the ‘Search Options’ in ‘Fix Match’

If it’s unable to MATCH then how to FIX MATCH?

In further testing I’ve found it’s faster to enter “tt2614684” as the title and set the DATE to be correct then PLEX will find it.

If the media item is curently unmatched, the menu item is called ‘Match’, instead of ‘Fix Match’.
