From my linux desktop I can access the Pllex Media Server jail on my FreeNAS server, and I can add the path to my media files in the plex web interface.
On my linux laptop, when I go to add a folder, All I see is //Plex Media Server in the top text box , and then underneath that I see plex with a home icon next to it. I cannot access the media folder on my NAS server.
Actually if I do leave it at the default and then choose Plex media in the left dropdown column, the media is there. But if I select Plex, there is no media. I think I am getting confused between the 2.
