I apologise firstly as my IT skills are basic! Decided to buy a Plex lifetime pass and run off my synology NAS (DS214) which was going ok…
Not sure if this is related but today I manually updated Plex for Synology. I then decided to delete all my TV programs to start this folder again (WHY?!) any how I now can’t add the folder with the media that is the same less a few files. It says it can’t be saved. Nothing else has changed and I have managed to add music since the update with no issues but it won’t let me add the TV program library type. It lets me browse the media, click on the relevant files but then won’t let me finish the last bit!
I have ensured permissions are enabled - nothing is read only.
tried adding to my music file which works since the update
tried adding a second film folder to see if this would trick it - failed.
I then tried editing the ready formed film folder to add a TV show I had on Plex previously, it let me add it to the folder but couldn’t find it once I scanned the file!
NAS is all up to date and working as well as something of that age can.
Ive tried moving the files to a new folder in my NAS - didn’t work.
