It would be great to get a more flexible music tag editor such as Mp3 tag.

Yes we can already edit few tag elements such as Artist name, track disc number, et… but it is very limited, i.e no composer field, no bpm, style within genres.

Also, no possibility to batch process few simple functionalities such as :

  • moving the artist data of multiple selected tracks to the Album artist field,

  • deleting image poster that were already present in some file

  • no file renaming based on track tags

These are few ideas but others can be added I guess…

I use Tag & Rename and finess some of the tags.
Here are T&R variables and my use for them:
%1 Artist = Director
%2 Title = Title
%3 Album = Stars
%4 Year = Year
%5Genre = Genre
%6 Track = Rating
How can I get plex to read my variables?
