Server Version#: 1.31.1.6733
Web Version#: 4.100.1
I upgraded my server from a very old install, everything worked afterward. However, I saw my libraries needed an upgrade but it was giving an error so I deleted them. Now I cannot add any libraries. I get a “Your changes could not be saved.” message. I tried deleting the com.plexapp.plugins.library.db, no difference. I uninstalled the PMS and deleted the data directory and reinstalled. No difference. Everything was working fine before with my old library. I don’t have any plugins, it’s a pretty vanilla install.
I’m having the same issue. I had to reinstall plex over the weekend and the only agent i can select when creating libraries is the movie database. Both Plex Movie and Plex Movie (Legacy) give me the message “Your changes could not be saved.”
Use the latest beta version. It is supposed to contain a fix for the issue.
If this version is not yet available for your server platform, go back to 1.30.2 or 1.29.2
Then create your libraries, then update to the latest server version.
Is this a scam? Make a bug so that people can’t add libraries but the only way is to download the beta or an older version but lock the other versions behind a Plex Pass purchase?
