I bought the plex pass (lifetime) a long time ago. I want an option where I can disable the “continue viewing” question after 2-3 episodes.
I don’t want to have to interact with the plex after every 2-3 episodes watched. Is very annoying.
Is this possible or do I ask the impossible?
I know about the playlist thing, but I don’t want to spend time creating playlists for each show. What’s the point of having playlists when I have a library anyway, right?
Why do I have to duplicate everything just to get rid of the whole “keep watching” thing?
And about playlists, if I don’t start with the first episode, it’s the same thing: after 2-3 episodes they ask me if I continue watching.
If I starting an episode from the playlist, why doesn’t it go to the end of the playlist without asking me anything else?
I don’t think they are talking about the continue watching hub/row on home screen.
I think they mean on post play when auto-playing after the two hours when current episodes ends, it will ask if you are still watching. It’s to prevent if someone falls asleep and end up with an entire show playing while they slept.
The answer is yes afaik we are going to be giving an option to remove the prompt. But I do not have an ETA on that.
You are right. I’m talking about auto-playing which is stoping after a while if the user not interact with the remote/app.
I believe that this feature should be up to the user if they want to use it or not.
If I feel that is not useful to me, I should be able to disable it.
For example, I don’t want my episodes to stop after a while and I don’t want to keep making playlists just to get rid of this problem. I don’t care if I fall asleep while I’m watching movies. A lot of times that’s exactly why I put on a show, to fall asleep while it’s on. On the moment it stops, I most of the time, wake up from sleep just to play the next episode. I like to hear the sound of the movie slowly while I sleep.
If you can create an option to disable this feature, everything will be perfect. I don’t think is that hard, to be honest
Every user has their own tastes and I think it’s good to give them the “freedom” to choose how they want to use the app.
So, you are telling me that thing was raised in 2018 and NO solution until today?!
How many years does it take to add a stupid option? They don’t seem to want to add it.
And yes, I’ll pick up this thread until the option I want is introduced.
