Please consider developing the ability to enable Exclusive Audio in Plexamp (for Windows and others) to allow bit-perfect playback of music. The function is currently present in Plex Player, but it is much more useful to have it in Plexamp (which by the way is also remotely controllable, unlike Plex Player).

The topic of adding WASAPI seems to have been on the table since 2020 but at this point it looks like it may never be reached. 
there are requests for basic stuff pending for more than 10 years
yeah but gapless is missing, adding 2 players does not result in a decent player 
Plexamp can never be a top tier audio player on windows if you can’t listen to bit perfect/exclusive audio ie no HiRes audio.
The devs said earlier this year they were going to implement this, though was that just to quiet us?
The strange thing is that they admitted to implementing it… as for the timing… who knows…
It’s hard to say. What’s incomprehensible is that they don’t seem to be keen on improving the functionality of the desktop platform, which is the most used. In my opinion, the application functions of the Linux and Mac versions are more complete.
