How do I add subtitles to TV shows and movies With Plex if they don’t already have subtitles on them

Two choices are possible:

  1. The easiest is to add an external subtitle, typically SRT, file
  2. Remux the video and embed the subtitle into the file with the video stream using a tool like mkvmerge

An example of adding an external, forced, subtitle for a movie.

I am using Sub-Zero to automatic add subtitles…

It will, add up to 3 different languages, rename according to Plex file-naming guide . .
