@fede777 Subtitle language search hasn’t been implemented yet. It’ll be coming. The other features you mentioned are either already in discussion with other teams or will be implemented.

Yes, the little square on the bottom right, which appears on the credits, it does nothing for me, If I press the OK button it Pauses video.
I see it is highlighted in Yellow, but I can’t use it. Could be a bug.

I’m not sure which square you’re talking about. Could you take a picture for me? We only have a separate screen that shows up that gives you details on the next episode. Maybe you’re watching an Amazon rip, and that square is on the video itself?
That could be it, never occured to me. I always thought the rips where grabbed just the video and not UI elements on the screen.
Just noticed one very nitpicky thing about the UI.
On the Season screen, when the focus is on the first episode (the one on the far left) the shadow of the thumbnail drops over the title of the episode.
As in you want to force a letterboxed video to fill the screen, and forcing it to stretch the video? We don’t have any plans to do so.
Your android client is able to do it, same applies to the one on Amazon Fire TV. Are those developed by someone else?
I don’t want to stretch to the screen and distort it, I want to fill the screen with it - meaning the left and right side of the video will be cropped off. Probably it is called zooming in on it.
Hello,
In the TV app (in my case a TV samsung), I would like to have the option to not view the grey shadow that appears when you enters to configurations when something is playing, this grey shadow is really invasive and do not allow to see very weel when you are moving backwards or forward the movie/show one is looking.
Sorry @sLumpy! This thread was meant to be specifically about the Smart Hub suggestions but it’s gotten taken over!
You’ve done a great job engaging with the community on the Samsung preview app and it’s much appreciated.
Recording Live TV
There does not seem to be a way to record a programme currently being transmitted. If one is selected in the Guide, then the action is to watch. Would it be possible to give the options to watch or record?
(This is well implemented in the Mac app).
Recording Radio
When setting up a recording, the Library selection (where to save the recording), only allows Video-type libraries to be used. It would seem more appropriate to allow a Music-type library here.
It would also be useful and perhaps more appropriate to save the audio stream as MP3 (or other audio format), rather than using the TS video format.

Different teams work on the Fire TV apps. We try to stay consistent across platforms though, so maybe it’s something we may want to do here too. I’ll log an internal issue to discuss.

There’s an internal issue logged to add this.

This suggestion is better off being in the Live TV & DVR section of the forums
