Add to collection

Hi,

 

I'm working on a program that will help me manage my collections more intelligently (group by Studio, Genre, Year, Director, etc).

 

Currently it will list all the movies that need to go in various Collections so that they can be added manually. I would like to expand this so that it is automatic.

 

Is it possible (via GET or POST) to send a request to the Media Server to add an item to a collection? If so, how is this done? If not, is there any other method of assigning a video item to a collection?

Bump, anyone know?

Or alternatively, is there any way to manually change the collections? I noticed they don't seem to be inside the metadata for Movies, where is the Collection data stored?
