What in the world? I would expect several different “crop settings” to just be in the “playback settings menu” along with the other commonly used quality and subtitle settings. My users arent going to be able to follow this themselves on their machines…

Well you were talking about your own ultrawide monitor and such for that specific app so just wanted to give you info if you cared to try that method. I didn’t mean to suggest I was saying no to the feature request.

I use mine with an ultrawide and would like to stop manually editing my mkv’s to crop them if I can help it. It’s time consuming.

Yes, absolutly. It is quite dissapointing that a feature seen in most all other video players is not present on Plex Desktop. I’ll be continueing my practice of switching to VLC for local network playback from my server until Plex can get their stuff together.
