Adding a user AND his/her managed users

A few of my users are other server admins with Plex Pass and their own server. They have families and their own managed users.

When I add such a user, Id really prefer it if I could add just that one user and have the his/her managed users automatically get the same access. So that the user can manage his own family set-up without my interference. Is this not possible? Do I have to add every user manually?

No, this is not possible.
The other admin has no influence over the rules on your server, regarding age ratings and sharing restrictions. Important for parents.

The only way would be to create full plex.tv account for the other family members (which is probably what you are currently doing).

I currently just add one user per household and they all share that. Which in turn screws up their watch history.

I allow two concurrent streams per user/household. Adding every user in every household could potentially lead to more traffic than I would like.

Allowing every managed user would lead to the same situation.

Not if Plex took the same approach as pretty much every commercial streaming provider.

One main account with a fixed number of concurrent streams, shared among the subscribers own profiles.

Plex is not a commercial streaming provider. At least when we’re talking about media on user’s own servers.

You are free to vote on this feature suggestion: Ability to share library with a users home instead of the single user

Please add your ideas regarding the “limiting no. of streams per household”.

Good ideas are good ideas. Even if they arent coming from a direct competitor.

In any event, thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I searched but couldnt find a similar topic.
