Adding a Zoom Feature In an update

I have Plex Media Server on my Windows 10 Computer. What is frustrating is that you cannot zoom a video so it fills the screen in the case of narrow wide movies. The movie file *.MKV itself can be zoomed when you run it independently out of Plex so why can’t you put a zoom feature in the Windows 10 app ??
It would be a really be a great idea as I have a number of these narrow wide movies.

There’s already an existing suggestion asking for the „Plex for Windows“ player to add UI controls for zooming the video during playback (including an instruction how this can already be done). Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes (closing this thread as a duplicate).

Please add the zoom function from Plex HTPC to the regular Windows app. I recently purchased an ultra-wide screen monitor, and discovered a lot of video files out there have embedded black bars top and bottom. The zoom feature would allow me to easily correct this. Thanks!
