When I check this page it seems it’s possible to have collections show up on managed users Home Screen (when libraries are pinned).
Though I see that it’s called “shared users home” there. But in my PMS it’s called “friends home”.
So I’m not sure if has changed so it’s not longer possible or of I’m doing something wrong?
To clarify I’m trying to get specific collections I made to show up on my oids “managed accounts” Home Screen in plex. But so far I had no luck in doing so.
So here’s hoping that someone could help me out with that.
Why would a screenshot what I just now described what I did help? Ain’t that many things called friends home in plex. And besides. I linked the plex support page for that specific settings.
Are you saying that if I have a collection, let’s call it “cartoon”, with three different movies. Movie 1 has an age rating of “for children all ages”, movie 2 has a rating of 10 years and movie 3 is for 18+.
If I then restrict the managed used so it only can see movies rated “for all ages”, will that collection not show at all since it has two items that are restricted? Or, as I thought, will it show, but only have those movies that the user is able to see regarding the restriction set on the user?
Because if it’s the latter, a few of those collections I made should show.
the only thing you described was the name of a setting. how about what app they are using since maybe there is an issue with the app. to make my settings just like yours so I can try to reproduce
This is a collection on one of my managed accounts
not sure if it takes a while for it to show on the home screen for managed users or whats going on. but when i checked today they were there and i havent touched a thing since i added them in the libraries settings in plex.
