I have several manged users (mainly my kids). I restrict their movies by tags. For example I’ve tagged all the movies with “Nathaniel” that I want my son to have access to and in user management for his account I restrict movies by the “Nathaniel” tag. This has worked very well. I finished creating all my collections and it works fine my main account but now all those collections seem hidden from managed users who have access to them. If I allow both collections and individual items to be shown (which I really don’t want) those individual movies will show up again in managed accounts but not the collection poster. Am I doing something wrong? Any way to fix this? One additional observation - I have one manged account that is only restricted by which libraries are available but no restrictions within those libraries. Collections works fine for that account.

apparently with collections activated, Plex checks for a non-existing tag/label on the collection and decides the underlying items are therefore not visible/allowed to managed users. planned to be fixed in some future update of Plex Web (no ETA).
