Adding folders and last folder is greyed out

I have figured this issue out.

This is definitely a Freenas perm issue

Here is how i fixed it:

  1. The pool needed to be set to unix with other as read write thus allowing the newly created users in the jails to read and write. I know not the safe-est way but its a work in progress.
  2. Once this was set i check marked the box next to set recursively
  3. restarted the jail and now the mnt points are not files but folders since the group now has read perms and all is well witht he world.

Thank you for pushing me to looking at the perms once again on this new drive. I had forgotten how i set these up when i started using Freenas over 5 years ago.
