Adding hard drives to NAS

I have a QNAP NAS running windows linux. I originally set up two hard drives in a RAID 1 on it. My Plex media file with my digitized library is on the one drive. I am about out of space so am adding another two hard drives in a RAID 1. When I installed I set it up as a new pool. Now I have two drives. My question is when I start to add movies to the new drive will they show up in my Plex media server as if the two hard drives are combined. Or do I need to set up the new hard drives differently than how I did it?

There is no such thing as ‘Windows Linux’
I am moving this thread over to the QNAP section.

you will have to add the new drives directory to plex as a media folder.

hi I have the same thing ( have movies on one hard drive of nas 453a, have run out of room now storing on another drive in the same unit under movies2, cannot get plex to see the other drive) how do I do this please when I look at plex it only sees the hard drive in the movies and the folders ? thank you

I find the simplest method to use is for PMS to access /share/<SharedFolderName>

In your case, it would be /share/movies2

Have you tried this?
